Welcome to Librarium Online!
most people give there army a name, like emperor's finest (name for sisters of a friend of mine). But so far I've been unable to think one for tau. How do you get names? and what kind of names? what's your Tauforce calles?
How about these? (they may not seem tau but they sound good anyway)
'the cadre of the striking fist'
'army of the falling blade'
'knights of the greater good'
'the striking fist of [insert commanders name]'
I haven't even considered using a name for my army yet. But if I should it would probably be something wierd like. "The Shooting Bananas of D'YANDI"
My tau army is called "The Swooping Hawk". I have wached Crouching Tiger - Hidden Dragon, Hero etc. Too many times and I really think that the Tau commanders would choose more "visual" names for their armies.
"The Boot of Unending Stomp"
Hehe - that was a good one! Try adding some more poetic stuff and you'll have a perfect name for your army, like "The crushing Anvil" or something...
Mine is typically refered to (by people at my local store) as "Scottish Tau, Highland Tau, Fighting Fiends, or Scottish Fiends" Which stem from the tartan pattern I painted on thier sholder pads and the Kilts I have on my Kroot. The Fiend comes from the marking for the Shas'Ui's, which makes them look like they're in The Misfits.
Half Gods are worshiped with Wine and Flowers. Real Gods are worshiped in Blood.
Blood for the Blood God! Beer for the Bronze Keg!
White Knights of Sa'cea (my tau are all black with white armor...and they are from Sa'cea...simple enough, right?)
My 40K Armies:
- Thousand Sons
- Mordian Imperial Guard
- Dark Eldar
My Fantasy Armies:
- Lhamian Vampire Counts
I have called my army the '115th Expeditionary Force of Sa'cea' but I'm in the market for a better name.
Shas'o Sa'cea Mont'yr Tolka Ket'ra - Commander Warhawk
Commander of the 115th Expeditionary Force of Sa'cea
