Well i have about an 1000 point Necon army and the list goes likes this
1 Lord with Orb and VoD
This is about 1000 points, and my friend recently bought me six flayed ones so ill incoperate those. For a 1,500 list i really want to take a C'Tan. Which one do u think would fit my army better? And should i possibly get rid of some scarabs/warriors?
“Krump first, assk qweztions neva'!"- 3000 Orks
Dark Eldar- 1500 1/0/0
"the very gods for vengeance cry”- 3000 Dwarves

My own opinion is that a C'tan is an awfully pricy for a 1500pt army, since it does not count towards phase out or provide an additional WBB roll, but ultamently the decision is yours and if you what a C'tan in your army then who are we to stop you.
Never get rid of scarabs! Scarabs are very very very effective at taking out armor and tying up uber-shooty units. They are fast and they can deep strike.
C'tan are great and all but to increase your list to 1500, I'd go for a monolith and some more warriors. I pretty much just stand and shoot with my necrons. I try and put at least 40 warriors on the field every game. Yes, C'tan are powerful but at 360 or 300 points it's 1/5 of you whole army and they don't count for phasing. Plus you've actually got to get them into CC for them to really shine. It's not worth it. I find that dropping my monolith on the board is much more psychologically devastating then floating a C'tan across the board hoping to make it to CC.
