Welcome to Librarium Online!
I currently have 7 warriors, and have already built 3 of them as ScyTal + RendC warriors.
Now I want to make these next 4 shooty warriors, One with a VC or BS and the others with a weaker gun.
I'm just a little confused about what I should take... I'm going to be playing mostly against SM and Necrons, so I would appreciate any advice you guys could give me .
DS and ST and make sure the squads are seperate so one squad of 3 as your CC squad and another squad of 4 as your ranged squad.
I prefer a deathspitter with rending claws with the biomorphs extended carapce, toxin sacs, and enhanced senses. This makes them deadly in both shooting and CC and they have never failed me.

If someone helps you, or you just like what they say, rep them
but a waste of points as your trying to be a jack of all trades with these and they will be a waste of points one way or another. either A. they get into combat fast and dont use their DS, or B. they never get inot combat and dont use their RC.
And specifically i was talking about weapons not bio-morphs as that was not the question.
I'd take rending claws over ST for the shooty warriors incase they get into combat, where they can still pose a threat to the enemy. You probably wouldn't charge them into combat deliberately, but would have them in support and provide synapse. You never know, you might need to charge them in to tip the tide of combat and change the outcome of the game, in which RC would do more damage to SM and Necrons then ST.
meh it all depends on your stlye of play and army size.
Thanks everyone for the fast replies.Originally Posted by insomnia

yes 2 guns on a warriors is a waste of points.
The Deathspitter can work well against lightly armoured vehicles and units with very tight formations. However, if a unit's formation is at all dispersed, the Devourer is instantly a much, much better weapon.
Why do the survivors remain anonymous -- as if cursed -- while the dead are revered? Why do we cling to what we lose while we ignore what we still hold?
Name none of the fallen, for they stood in our place, and stand there still in each moment of our lives.
