Harlequin list from the GW site
EO rules for Harlequins
Harlequin list from the GW site + the CJ extra rules
Ok guys I have seen some people post EO (Eldar Online) Harlequin rules and alot of people posting rules coming from the unofficial Harlequin rules found on the GW site.
I just wanted to start a poll to see how many people use which set of rules. Personally I love what EO did trying to make the Harle list bigger and more versatile but I am against using these rules since they are just fan site rules. Yes both sets of rules are unofficial but the ones on the GW site were actually written by a GW guys who have wrote many codex. These rules have been play tested by GW but not enough to make them official.
I am not a big fan of using the extra updates in the CJs with the Harle wraithlord, which I think is a bit powerful when you can have a +4 cover save and a D-cannon on a wraithlord. I know its like 140pts or something but I am not sure that makes up for how powerful it could be. Deathjesters with las blasters...or fire pikes don't sit well with me ethier. The only thing that I like is the mimes which make sense and don't seem too powerful or anything.
Also take into concideration when using these different rules if your competition would even let you use the rules or not. I have had no problem with people letting me use the Harle rules on the GW site for tournies or regular games so far.
What's your thoughts on the different lists?

Note to members: Eldar Online, and its present incarnation, is simply a cheap copy of these own hallowed halls. On no account venture there, or you will be shocked by its appalling hideousness.

Personally, I prefer the current EO rules.
1) Balance - they are much more balanced than the GW rules and give the Harlequins at least a fighting chance, even when the enemy knows what to expect.
2) Versatility - not every army list is the same! With the GW rules, an effecitve Harlequins list will always look the same as the other Harlequins lists... i.e., no fun to play because everyone else who plays 'em will be using the same list! The EO codex offers a lot more variety to the Harlequins.
3) Fluffy - IMO, the EO codex is much more fluffy than the current GW codex, so I naturally like it better.
Some may argue that the GW codex is "more" official simply because it was written by people "who have done it before"... well, the EO codex has been play tested just as much, by REAL players like you and me, and it's come out extremely balanced, IMO.
Most people around here would let me play with the EO rules; most others, however, probably won't let you play using them because they aren't "official" (as if the GW ones were, ha..). So, take everything I say with a bit of salt and don't expect people to always let you play with them; especially if you start beating them with the EO rules, they will probably force you to use the other rules.
I much Prefer the EO rules I think GW should adopt them and make them "Official"
I like the old rules, and I like to take a standard eldar detachment, because for me it doesn't seem that the harlies could field a full army.

Pssst.... give me kudos....
I play with the EO rules although my army is made around the GW rules, just incase they don't let me play with the EO rules. I think its more balanced, fun, variety, and the 4+ invulnerable save in close combat lolzor. Makes them stand more of a chance if they fail to kill everything when they attack.
Those flight belts make the characters too powerful.

I find that the GW rules are better. The whole point in going the harlies is so that u get a challenge. Theyre the most challenging army in 40k to win with despite being unofficial. If u can win the majority or your games without the use of a wraithlord, or 3, or the 4+dodge save u are a true 40k master.
I think I would like the EO rules more if the format was like the GW one. I have gotten so used to GW that I actually find it kind of hard to follow properly.
