    Monolith vs. Wraithcannon

I've wondered about the Monolith and special weapons...
Would an Eldars wraitcannon be able to destroy a Monolith?
And what about the haywire grenades, can they kill a monolith??

Yes they would. But since both weapons require the enemy to get very close to you it should be doable to avoid it.

Few eldar players use Wraithguard btw.

And that is because thee are so damn exspensive money-wise.
But those Eldar players that have no problem oftenly field a squad of five + warlock in a wave serpent and they are real heavi-killers.

True, but if my calculations are right that squad in a waveserpent is setting the eldar back over 300 points... so it should be a very hard hitting squad.

Oh and btw... don't let them get near your nightbringer. They are likely to put a couple of wounds on him by shooting, and the warlock wounds a nightbringer on 2+ with his witchblade.

Wraithguard have S 5 so just blow 'em away...
331 would the squad be on if they had 5+1 WG and a warlock in a Serpent with average equips.

Remember, they hit the 'lith on 6s in CC, and you can always just disgorge a couple of units of warriors to hold off anyone coming for it.
