I'd actually say somewhere between those two, maybe around the 1850 range. Definite no-no for 1500 unless you have a lot of cover and a really great plan.

I hate using C'tan. I feel their models don't do them justice. In game terms, it would be laughably easy for even a Warhound titan to take out a C'tan. In fluff terms, that doesn't flow. They should only be usable in Epic, as that fits their scale more. Think about it. In fluff terms, when the Nightbringer was at the peak of its power, it could crack planets open with a gesture and destroy armies with a thought. Even in current fluff, you don't like someone? Kill their sun, send the planets spinning off into space as frozen wastelands. Something of that scale has no business in 40k.

I'd agree with the 2OOO+ point voices.

When I do use my Deceiver, and I use his special
abilities, such as the re-deployment, I like to tell my opponent things like:
"Oh yeah, I lied to you about these Warriors setup,
they're actually over here"

On the contrary, the Nightbringer comes in real handy when you're playing Missions on small maps where his slow 6'' move is not a problem
(yeah, I know, say cheeeeeese)

Again, fluffwise, I don't like 6" representing the movement of a being that flows like water and can corss the distances between stars. Just sayin'

This is just for balancing purposes... Imagine a Nightbringer with the speed of a Destroyer or Wraith, or with the ability to deepstrike. It would utterly dominate the Battlefield to the point that you could leave your other units at home...

(Fluffwise the Nightbringer should be much MUCH MUCH more powerful. Think of 10 in all stats, invul save 2+ and multiple S10 Ap1 Ord shots at 72''. Just sayin'.)
