It appears that the Falcon, Serpent, and Prism tanks all use the same body. Are there sprues to convert a regular falcon into a serpent or prism? Or maybe vice-versa?
The idea here is I can customize my two tanks into whatever I will need against X enemy using magnets and these sprues. So if I need mobility I just slap on the scythes, smaller turrets, and larger troop hold onto the falcon body and, voila, I have a serpent.
I appreciate any constructive comments.
okay, you could from http://forgeworld.com/ purchase the wave serpent conversions, not sure about fire prism part... i would stay away from fire prisms anyway, but thats IMO. use with Rare Earth Metal Magnets, and you can convert at the battlefield...
The Wave Serpent has an expanded hull, and also it has force field projectors on it's "wings". A simple turret swap will not work...
And don't bother with a Fire prism, ever.
Warhammer Fantasy: Warriors of Chaos, High Elves
Warhammer 40k: Eldar, Space Marines, Orks
My wave serpants/falcons are the same body i ordered the sprues for the different turrents and assembled them that way. My fire prism the turrent is fixed on, i only did that because the turrent is fully metal and very heavy. Honestly, no opponent will ever complain if you tell them ahead of time because the turrents are shapped completely different and clearly identify the model. The the sprues are now available through GW online

just keep the spines on, and tell your opponents that they are for when it functions as a wave serpent... as for the extra carrying space you can magnet it on/off (might wanna try making your own, bc i dont think they have a bit for it (do they?)
OK. Well thanks for the input. I've been looking over my assembly instructions and I'm confident I can engineer the tableside conversions with magnets - even the extended hull and forcefield projectors on the serpent.
Also, thanks for the heads-up on the prism. I can field it as a falcon as it comes with all the same parts anyway. Hope they improve it in the next codex.
