Hello to all readers, i recently went to Gamesworkshop and was playing a game w/ biovores...but thats beside the point. i was using bioacid and about to use the flame template when the owner tells me all sporemines use blast. well in the 3rd ed. rules they could use the flame template and now the 4th ed. doesnt say a thing about that change. all it says is "place the blast marker over the model" im thinking this is refering to the type of blast used or am i wrong? also, if the spore mine is within 1 inch of the enemy, they blow up right? or is that for when they shoot? please help!

to heck with you! think about the poor monkeys who have to work at a hundred type writers!
You use the 3" blast marker (the small one) in th 4th edition. And I know that they explode if they are in 2" of the enemy not in 1" , I might be wrong though....
If an enemy model within 2" of a mine fires, the cluster explodes. Otherwise a mine has to actually make contact with the enemy in order to explode.Originally Posted by holo

Name none of the fallen, for they stood in our place, and stand there still in each moment of our lives.

also sporemines are now fired as a barrage.
