normaly a wych weapon will deniy your attack for a second hand weapon does this include scything talons? i can think of alot of reason why they wouldnt and a few why they would so what are your toughts?.
my sefl i think nids would count there +1 attack from the talons because it increases there attack stat.
Codex Tyranids, page 8, scything talons rules:
"Tyranid creatures with scythibng talons count as having two close combat weapons in an assault and so gain +1 Attack"
Gaining a bonus for being equipped with two close combat weapons is exactly what wych weapons negate, therefore scything talons are definitely affected and negated.
Given that some Tyranid bio-constructs can be given two sets of Scything Talons, would Wych weapons negate both extra attacks, or only one?
Both, because rulewise there is no difference between these two sets of scything talons. Both count as additional ccws, wych weapons negate and bonus attacks which a model gained due to additional ccws.
I dont have a clue about wych weapons bat what happens if the unit has rending claws also flesh hooks (or even implant attack - my point - the biomorphs are effected?)?
Tnx in advance!
MEAT IS MURDER
Wych weapons don't affect any of those as none of them add an extra attack.
And before you ask, Bio-plasm isn't affected either.
