my question about the railgun when using the submunition round is, is it an ordnance weapons or not since it says its an ordnance blast in the codex but another thread says that railgun submunition shot isnt an ordnance. so what is it exactly?
it's not ordanace it jsut uses that template to indicate the blast zone of the weapon using submunitions
I got lost on the road of life
The subs uses the large blast template, you roll to hit exactly as per a normal railgun shot, if it hits you place the template where you want on the targeted unit, in line of sight and within 72" range, the subs does not scatter and also does not halve its strength if the center hole is not over a vehicle as per ordnance rounds (this is what makes it so good against open topped vehicle squadrons).Originally Posted by chigga_gangsta
If a vehicle is hit you use the normal glancing or penetrating damage tables not the Ordnance one.
