Welcome to Librarium Online!
Last I knew the "Death Leaper" was one of the example loadouts for a Warrior or something like that, but today the Webway Newsletter linked to a Games Day Atlanta site where there's a preview for a bunch of new models... Russki-looking IG, those Vespid things, and then a "Tyranid Death Leaper" that looks basically just like a Lictor in a different pose. Are they just releasing the limited edition Lictor or what?
Go to http://gamesday.us.games-workshop.co...nta_teaser.htm
click on Previews
Click the left or right button until you see the Death Leaper. Click Enlarge to get a full-size picture of him.
You also get to see the new Biovore.
If oyu look closer you'll notice that this isn't the limited edition, it's far different.
It's gonna be released for the CoD campaign this summer, rules for it are on the GW site but these might get replaced by updated ones in the WD
On the UK games workshop site it has rules for the death leaper as a special character if they rules are going to change I don't know
Now listen up! Back in my day, we didn't have fancy tanks!
We had sticks. Two stick and a rock for the entire platoon! And we had to share the rock!
You should consider yourself very lucky marines!
i read the rules and i did not like them. this way it can scatter out of the area terrain and fall over enemy, or may end up more than 6 inch away and become a sitting duck. the ordinary (if thats possible) lictor is relatively safe, as you can place it in a narrow part of terrain and lower the chances of scattering a deadly or useless place.
and death leaper is costly pointswise. no good.
