Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey i was wondering ( well actualy i just couldn't think of how to equip them) how do u guys equip your warbosses
Kustom Mega Blasta (free-Bm list)
Mega Armor-Power Klaw
he's not all the expensive and is required to take so many points of wargear per the Ork Klan list. The Kustom Mega Blasta is free for a Badmoon warboss, and Pending who i'm playing I sometimes forgo KMB for a Choppa for versatility in HtH that way i can opt to use the Power Klaw or Choppa. The cybork gives an invul save, which is a necessity otherwise he can be slapped and killed by a power fist easily. The Gob raises his leadership to a 10 which helps greatly.
i deploy him in a unit of Ard boys (20 boys) which is Led by a Nob (mega armor, occassionall a Gob). This way i have 2 figures with lots of attacks to help out. The Nob adds some staying power and with a Gob provides a boost of leadership for when (not if) the Warboss is splatted.
lately i've been bringing along a Big mek with mega armor, for some extra stomping power, deployed in the same squad. This avoids taking the pricey retinue of nobs as the squad nob is cheaper, the big mek is a decent amount of points, but if i add a retinue the retinue and boss can't join the ard boys. sometimes i bring a KFF with the mekboy to add staying power to the unit (4+ regular save, 5+ invul) i'm not sure if i can give him Mega Armor and KFF, so this may be switching to Eavy Armor, Power Klaw, and KFF
40K-Beakies(9-14-4),Guard(4-7-2),Orks(34-12-11). FANTASY-Dwarves(15-6-7),Beasts (14-14-1), Skaven (17-17-10) DoC (6-1-2). CYGNAR (28-15-1)
mega-armour (chance to use converted mega-armour warboss)
combi rokkit w/more dakka
sometimes a few attack squigs
k thanx a lot i was wondering whether to go and give my warbossa pk a choppa , bionk bouce and boiinik arm and ,eavy armoour ,cybork body
\ how useful would this be
I give my ork warboss:
Slugga (kustom jobs More Dakka, Shootier)
Ammor Runt(I made a cool model for it, so i feel like i HAVE to use it)
Attack Squig(same reason as above)
*EDIT* That combo you posted is almost identical to mine, it should work well.
ok thanx a lot everyone
not an ork player, but i can tell you what opponants dont like to come up against.
warbosses with choppas dont really instill too much fear in marines, because in all honesty a tooled up marine HQ can pummel this kind of warboss 4 times outta 5. Against normal marine squads, they are mighty powerful i grant you and against armies like guard, nids eldar and the like this kind of warboss is brilliant (wounding on a 2+ without a powerklaw is always nice).
so if you use you HQ as a means to kill enemy HQ's the powerklaw/mega armour warbosses are the best. If you're into grunt hunting then the choppa/'eavy armour warboss is best.
all depends on how you use the dirty great muppet
Never judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes...by that time they'll be a mile away, and have no shoes
ya i know and i gave my boss a pk and a choppa so that he can fufill both roles( actualy so that i could get the plus one attack and have a none I 1 wepon)
I have two Speed Freek Warbosses:
Wurmwud - Choppa, power klaw, 'eavy armour, bionik arm, cybork body and bionik bonce. He is mounted on a warbike.
Grahulk Thrakazog - Mega armour, mega boosta, power klaw, cybork body, iron gob and kustom shoota - more dakka and shootier. He is mounted on a wartruk.
I prefer Wurmwud because the warbike can turbo boost and lay down a wither twin link big shoota fire. His Toughness is boosted to 5, strength 8+ weapons still cause instant death if he fails his save. On top of all this he has six close combat attacks including his bonik arm. Can we save fast moving industrial blender of death!
