i've always talked with my friends about it, and i suppose it could work quite well. what do you think?
putting 6 carnifexes and maybe a hive tyrant in a line or a semi circle to shield some of your fragile cc units. could this work or would it be a waste of points? - or money i don't think i'll ever have 6 fexes in my nid collection.
"I have seen you humans, trying to forge an Empire in the name of a corpse"
This has been discussed many times. Use the search function to get some ideas. I like to call this the "mobile terrain" tactic. I use it with two tyrants and two fexes. These four models can effectively block LOS to 3-4 units of stealers. The main problem is you lose the ability to FoC if you want to stay behind the MCs. This is a good tactic for the first turn, but typically by the second turn you are close enough to begin getting into CC. Once your hormies get into CC they'll block LOS so you can break your stealers lose.
I do not criticize. I do not offend. All I offer is my opinion which means only as much as you make it.
