Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey iv got a small fledgling Tyranid Army, and iv dont have nearly enough Gaunts, but id also like to have some tyrant gaurds, but at the same time lictors and raveners are good too, i have a total of $35 to work with, and i was wondering what might be considered best at this point
(Currently i have a Hive-Tyrant, Old one eye, 6 gene-stealers like 8 termigaunts and hormagaunts (8 a piece) and im not really counting them (save the gene-stealers) and about 4-6 warriors (2 are unbuilt but i still have them).)

The Kroot: You are what you eat.
Tyranids: YOU are what WE eat.
Personally I'd grab a fex however thats my playing style. Fast and Big. If your looking to swarm grab another guant box. If your looking sneaky i'd go lictor then raveners. If your looking to go MC's grab a fex.
Pros: Good against backs of tanks and Hvy Weapons Squads
Cons: Not good at handling standard Squads even IG.
Pros: Highly Customisable, hard to kill. Can be tailored to troops tanks whatever.
Cons: Usually alot of points where other creatures can cause more damage.
Pros:Cheap, Fast, great against standard infantry, can soak up alot of damage.
Cons: Ordanance (while wasted) destroys them so does rapid fire and template weapons.

Right now I would get another box of gaunts. Then mabye a carnifex and more genestealers.
I have seen the Death Company: wild-eyed berserkers, who tear their enemys limb from limb, crush skulls with a single blow, snap spines and rip out organs. The Blood Angels are indeed ancient and terrible and only the foolish do not fear them.
1 or 2 boxes of gaunts asap, you'll need to increase the numbers of your swarm.
This all depends on how you want to play. Do you want a bunch of big nasties running around, or do you want a bunch of little gaunt swarms. Back when I was planning on playing (back in 3rd, ah... 3rd edition Tyranids *sigh*) I was planning on having a bunch of big nasties and hordes of scything gaunts (6pts a model back in the day, gosh I hate GW for getting rid of them) a tyrant with wings a couple carnifi and some Warriors, you know a mix with lots of nice cannon fodder.
However that's just my play style for Tyranids, loads of combat oriented models and cannon fodder.
