I started my Necron army a really long time ago, and never was able to even get 1/4 of the way done with it. I'll tell you what I plan on doing and you can give advice if you wish:
12 troops(I know I need 2 squads)
a squad of Scarabs
4 FO(Flayed Ones)
Believe it or not I think that's it...like I said I started it, and was unable to complete it....I plan on getting:
completing my squad(s) of FO
Then probably some Pariahs or Destroyers
Along with a squad of Wraiths
Before critiqueing my army listen to my battle strategy:
Plain and simple not oging to put to much typing in to it, and I havn't looked at my Codex recently so some of my info could be wrong;
The Deciever has many different abilities all to which may be used in the same turn...but I think 2 of them you must decide between and they take your fighting phase...but he has many abilities ot make the enemy take Leadership and Morale rolls
Deep Strike FO w/ Necorn Lord.....the FO also make your enemy take a morale check I believe
While this is going on....Troops and Destroyers are laying down fire and Wraiths are advancing
Course it's a bit more complicated but I won't be able to refresh my memor until I get home
Thanks for any input
Everyone's spelling the C'tan Deceiver like my name!
Wraiths are good, but you only need a few. And don't overestimate them: with relatively low T and WS for what they do, they're fragile. Destroyers are great- get as many as you can. Pariahs are a royal pain in the butt to assemble, and I find them overpriced for waht they do. If used in conjunction with the C'tan Deceiver, they are strong, but that's a difficult combo to use. Good luck!
Si em, tow en can de lach.
Tak! Tak! Tak ah wan, Tak a lah!
Mi tow, can de lach.
Mi him, en tow.
make sure you get enough troops to make it difficult to lose by a phase out.
Ya I know that's like the one thing that majorily sucks about Necrons. There's only one thing, and that one thign is there phase out. I find that what normally happens is the Necron Player delivers one major blow and then cleans up the scattered mess. But ya phase out is something I'm having to watch out for
that eldar starta s/n was mine just so yall know(that used to be the name i used...and i didn't realize it but that's what i was logged on as)
