Welcome to Librarium Online!
I started Tau and then quit very rapidly
No offense to those of you who do play, but I thought they sucked....it may ahve been me, but they never seemed to be really great at anything
I was yougner so I didn't understand all fo the strategic stuff invloved, and that may ahve been why I didn't like them but also they don't have very good strength in any part of their armies
I may have jsut had bad luck, but I never did to hot with them
I was just wondering why yall play them???And weither or not you do well with them
The reason I played Tau originally was because they look cool. But before I got really indepth with them i bought the codex and had a look though that. The thing that sold it to me was the weapon range and strength. As long as your enemys don't get close then you can usually pick them off easily using long range weapons. The only thing you hae to look out for is a IG basalisk tank but I haven't played one of those, yet
Yes the Tau have some of the Best Weaponadry in the Galaxy the Railgun S10 AP1 it can rip through armour, the Tau are basicly one of the Shootist Armys ever made. The Firewarrior has a 30" Range and thats just the Basic Infantry. The reason to play Tau is because they are really shooty and have that balanced out by the Kroot which dont really last long in a Tau Army but are awesome CC fighters.
I have to agree one of the first reasons I played Tau was because they looked good then after reading the codex I thoungt this is quite a good team
I looked back over some Tau stats, and when I've completed and finished using me Necorn Force I may restart Tau....if I do what squad do you suggest would help me the most.
Why I play Tau?
THis one is easy. I used to play templars and found it far too easy to win. If designed with a theme, and properly balanced they could take almost any army and configuration.
I noticed the people that had the hardest time winning were the tau, so I figured, lets play a challenging army. 8|
I enjoy the Tau games much more for the varied outcomes, but all the fire coordination gives me a headache after about 3-4 hours.
lol..that's cool, but you know technically unless I misunderstood you you were just saying you choose the Tau because they're not good and they're hard to win with....Am I right??
challenging and not very good are entirely different things. if you get the tau right they can ***** all over most units and be very very scary
my stealth suits regurely take down at least double their points cost because they're so hard to hit and put down so much fire. buy some, you won't regret it
less hate more kittens
When I played Tau before I did have some
If I start playing again, I will more hten definitley get some because i've seen and experienced the damage one on one that they cna do(I still one though...but htey were lethal and took a lot of power to bring down)
