Welcome to Librarium Online!
I played a batle against a nid player and he used a special character whos name was something like trygon. He was insanely good and i was wondering if he even existed. since neither the US or the UK GW sites had him. (i may just have been blind)
i need to find something interesting to put here
Ok Scotty, jokes over... NOW BEAM UP MY CLOTHES!
It's a forgeworld model.
Trygon Model can be found here.
You used to be able to DL the rules for it on their site, but it looks like they took 'em down. Looking further, there is a new Imperial Armour book coming out that will likely include the rules for the Trygon.
Anyways, since it is indeed a Forge World model, you can simply decline to let him play it.
WoW, fair play. He is quite bad ass. I did see the model but the rules just went to the gargantuan rules.Originally Posted by Noctus

"They are coming! I feel them scratching inside my mind, scratching, screaming, running, so many - so, so many voices. They're coming for us - flesh, body and soul!"
Yeah, basically a webway portal for Tyranids. :ninja:Originally Posted by w00kie

Name none of the fallen, for they stood in our place, and stand there still in each moment of our lives.

Yes, you can decline the use of forge world models.wait you can decline to let a peson play with forge world modelsIt's up to you and your opponent to decide whether special characters and/or Forge World models are allowed.and in a game if Special Char. are aloud are Forge world models too
The "Special Characters" rule has become a bit greyed of late with models like the Necron C'Tan . These character types used to be in a section called "Special Characters" and these must be agreed upon before being allowed to be used. But codexes like the Necrons do not list these as "Special Characters" and can therefore be used in any game. This has caused a bit of confusion in past games.
But, a basic rule of thumb is, if it's not in a GW codex then it's a "Special Character". Whether it's a ForgeWorld model, White Dwarf character, or on the GW website they should all be agreed upon before using them.
I do not criticize. I do not offend. All I offer is my opinion which means only as much as you make it.
