Do many people use Runes of Warding? They look like they can be pretty effective against psykers. Most arguments say you dont vs enough psykers for them to be effective. Now my friends are 2 space marine players that I can guarantee a Librarian, one SM that might get a librarian eventually, an IG player that utterly despises every kind of sanctioned psyker. A chaos army with a chosen sorcerer and then a tau and a necron.
These are my friends armies and i've been debating for a while if I should use runes of warding in permanent army list. What do the rest of you think? or do they join the pile of taboo eldar units with our jetbikes, support platforms and spears?

If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
hey, spears are cool!
i don't have my codecies to hand but i think they are only a 6 or 12 inch range, which generally makes them ineffective as as soon as the enemy knows what you have, they will keep their psykers well away from your farseer.
They suck for what they do, but if you know you will fight an army with a Seer Council or Librarian or something you can take them if you have spare points.
