I finally did it, no more minor defeats or draws for me! I beat a Tyranid play with nothing but good old 2 sqauds of 25 boys with powerclaw nobs, a Warboass and a Bigmek with KFF and 4 Mekboys with 2 KMB and 2 Burnaz!
I can't remember how I exactly did it but It worked! He was using Old One Eye (I let him) so that might have been a point sink, at the end of turn 6 all he had left was a Ravener and I had a sqaud of 23 Boys and their Nob camping in terrain!
Just thought I'd share.
Nids are hard to beat with Orks. I'm sure the Burnas helped. ^_^
I would love to read a battlereport about that one, pitty you don't have more information about the battle.
Still good win.
Well pritty much what happend was I used a Killa Kan to tie up all his hormanguants in CC, when he charged them he didnt know he could not hurt it. His Broodlord was killed by a Powerclaw Nob and since it was his only synapes the Hormaguants now without it failed their leadership vs. my Killa Kan after lossing 2 each turn for 3 turns and when they tired to flee rolled so bad I was able to catch them killing them all.
His Genestealers after killing an entire sqaud of Orks help from 6 tooled out Ripper Bases fell prey to my KMB and Burnas.
Old One Eye was Pistoled by 23 Ork Pistols and then charged and killed. He didnt get back up the next turn and all that was left was his Ravener with one wound.
