hey i was just wondering whether using 3 carnis in a 500pt battle was cheese (no it's not a combat patrol
What are the force orginazation rules for 500 pt games?
same as a normal battle( it's for a tourney in my local GW)
It's not neccesarilly cheese, but many people would think it would. Like every other list, yours would have a counter, which would be concentrated firepower.
so then i would assume that you would need a hq plus 2 troop choices which would almost half your points.... is 3 fexes even feasible?
just a small sqaud of warriors and tow small sqauds of spine a gaunts it should work as long as i don't go overboard with the fex's wpeons and biomorphs
two minimal squads of spinegaunts and 3 fexes will give you only 165 points to make your warriors and give your fexes biomorphs.
2 squads of gaunts + 3 unmorphed fexes= 335 pts
He'd be able to give the fex's some biomorphes, and still have room for a decent Warrior squad, I think.
Cheapest Effective Warrior Would Be Equiped With A Venom Cannon = 38 Points.
Deathspitter = 31 Cost Includes Enhanced Senses And Extended Carapace.
Devourers Would Almost Be The Same Because If You Used Them You Would Almost Need To Have Toxin Sacs, Otherwise You Would Be Wounding Marines On A 5+.
Why are you interested in cheese, anyways? How I see it, there's legal and not legal. Cheese is something that people come up with to declare that they are facing something unexpected.Originally Posted by hero
However, will it be fun to play against? Is the tournament for a prize, or just to have a good time playing? If it's for a prize, then I say go for it. If it's simply to have fun with some friends, then I'd find something a bit more balanced, so that the game is fun for both you and your opponent.
