can the venom cannon do a penetrating hit against open toped vehicles?
I wanna say yes... but i don't have my codex in front of me....which vehicle are you trying to penetrate?
Yes it can. In the rule on page 30 of the codex it says it cannot penetrate non-opened topped vehichles. all rules for open topped vehicles remain unchanged.
Whats an open topped vehicle? i have been wondering this for a while...
"How ironic it is that as fast as we spread progress and hope throughout the galaxy, the Tyranids spread death and despair."
- Aun'shi of the Tau
A Good Example Of An Open Topped Vehicle Is A Dark Eldar Raider Or Ravager......most Ork Vehicles.
It will say in the vehicles description if it is open topped or not. The only time it gets dicey is Chimeras. If stuff is shooting out of them then they are open topped... unless the units shooting have an armor save of 3+ (i think) then it isn't. And if nothing is firing out then it isn't. But someone go check me, that might be a Sisters of Battle special.
May your aim be true, and your targets plentiful.
No, venom cannnons can only get glancing hits. It doesn't matter if they are open topped. Toxin spores are the only things that have that exception.
Yes it does. Why don't you take a look at p. 30 of the Tyranid codex, under the Venom Cannon entry. Read it very, very closely.Originally Posted by Warrior47

Sorry, I lost my codex a week ago and still can't find it, I was just going on my memory:blush:Originally Posted by PoptartsNinja
