    Vespid bases

I was wondering if anyone else with vespids had trouble getting them onto the bases. They have a large TAU letter in the middle of their bottom of their base, which makes them very hard to place in the middle of the black base. I had to significantly trim down the bottom section before putting them in the base. It should look fine once I flock the bases, but it was quite a pain putting them together.

I just use sandpaper to sand down and letters sticking out on the slot tab thingys. I just had to do it on my Khador Warcaster and one of my khador Warjack Legs.

I had to really sand them down(army box kit).

I then had to bend them backwards so they wouldn't fall over.

felt like i might break them

Yeah that happened to me too. Yech. it was ridiculous. I got sick of it and just hacked the base up until I could glue some of it on. Serves ya right, uppity vespids.

Hack and slash is what i did, i use the a pair of small shiers, and cut off the ends that make it too long to even fit on the base, then cut the word tau out, and they fit perfect, hehehe. I was alos pretty disapointed with the ears, i had one brake before i even opend the box.... As for using them in games, they usualy all get killed first turn, but if i could get them close enough... Great models, and i love their rules, totaly using them everytime.

Well I use mine as a counter-charge unit, where I would normally use kroot. I've had alot of success with this, they at least make back their points.

I can't believe you guys use sand paper. You all need to buy a set of metal files. They're cheap and it doesn't take for ever.
