    Orks and your opponents?

** I started a poll like this in the Necron board and I think it would be interesting to hear the same thoughts on other armies **

You announce that you will be playing your Orks.

What are some of the common statements you hear from your opponents?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Those of you without a Ork force chime in as well on the Poll.

You look accross the table and see the Orks massing for assault.

What are you thinking, when you see Orks lining up against your prize army?

I always get the reaction of "Orks, this will be easy", before I hammer my opponent into the ground. They always seem to think that it'll be a shooting gallery of death, but they can never seem to cut it. Even when I use a footslogging army, they never can cut it.

Orks, while not the most powergamer-ish army, are definitely under rated. Ork players that actually try to be strategic with their orks (and not making a stereotypical horde army list with no back up) can be very competitive players. Most space marine players or nids seem to feel like they are going to have target practice/free vegetable dinner when they see orks.

People stare at my army and wonder why its effective and generally say "orks can't shoot i'm fine" This is true that orks can't shoot. But i play badmoons and that means lots and LOTS of shooting and something will hit you. Plus with a severe amount of TL weapons i'm going to hit often and hard.. even vs though marines.
