Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hi, I'm new to the whole figurine builing thing, and I get most of the stuff that building my army needs, but how to I get the Wraiths to stay on the base? I've got the top spine gluing to the lower spine as I'm typing, and I can do the plates and arms, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it all stay on the base. And yes, before anyone asks, I did take off the tags, but I left on the cylinder thing; it didn't look tag-ish.
Whew! It is a very good thing you did not remove those cylinders, as they are the ONLY THING which keeps wraiths attached to their bases! For the next step, take a look at the large bases which come with your wraiths. Flip them over- notice the hollow cylinders of plastic? The cylinders attached to the wraiths fit into those. What you need to do is identify where the hollow cylinders are from the top and cut out a hole for each wraith's base cylinder to fit into.
It works the same way as the Ork Warboss, if you've ever made one. Best of luck! ^_^
Thanks, I don't want to mess this up. There's only one cylinder that came attached to the wraith; is that good or bad? And also, do I simply glue the cylinder into the newly created hole, or do I have to secure it and glue?
Build Update: My wraith's all done, except for paint and that base.
one cylinder is all you get, Wraiths are a complete pain to keep togetehr if they get any abuse,
to identify the hole, push a craft knife or better still a drill trough from inderneath then drill, cut out from the top, you need to clue the thing into the hole.
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Okay, finished putting the wraith together. I used a nail to poke a small hole and then used a screw to bore a hole, and wire cutters and a file to fit teh cylinder to the right height. All done! And thanks again
