My dear brethren, how easy it is to forget our own greatness for once and look down upon the slave races for a hint of potential among them!
But that is of no matter. The forces beyond of Chaos may all be used and manipulated as we see fit, or avoided for further trouble.
However, there is a matter of grave concern to me. Two actually, yet these are mutually inclusive as to become almost one and the same . . . . .
Let me first address one thing. Our survival, the existence of the True Eldar, is on the brink of oblivion. We alone face death, destruction, and the annhiliation of our species. And to think at the hands of mere slaves and pawns! May Slannesh suffer the pain of a thousand blades from the loving hands of our Master Haemonculi.
The forces of Chaos seek the Webway for their nefarious plans. They must be stopped at all costs. The Imperium, more likely than not, will also seek to utilize that technology. It is best to pit foe against foe, and who hates one another as the Imperium and Chaos!?
Perhaps our relationship with our foolish Craftworld brothers is the most similar in nature. However, as many of you may feel, our view of them is not so much sheer, illogical hatred, but rather cold, calculated contempt and outright disgust. The "Eldar" (such a foolish name, for we are the True Eldar), as the Imperium labels them, have proved to be nothing but a nuisance in the past. Even in the Eye of Terror, we sought to teach them a lesson they will loathe to forget.
But this is a different battle. This is a battle of survival, a battle that pits our dimished, yet still superior glory against the ignorant and idiotic species that taint the Galaxy. But who understands us? No one. Who, then, understand us most closely? The Craftworld Eldar.
They may be naught but fools, but they are fools of the same species as we are. They may hate us, but they must understand that we are still the SAME, and that we must ensure our survival. Remember -- there are both Craftworld and True Eldar among the mysterious forces of the Harlequins, which I do not fear nor hate. They are themselves with motives that will do nothing but promote the survival of OUR species.
And as such, I must ask all of my fellow Archons, Archites, and Incubus Warlords. Is this possible? Am I just being a delusional fool this time? Do I reek of unecessarry, idiotic paranoia? I think not. I believe it's time to put all pettiness aside, and focus solely on survival. The Eldar may try to destroy us after this little game, but they do not have the power to do so. We can always kill them like sheep after this event is over.
But for now . . . . . I say, we offer then truce. A cease-fire, if nothing more. I do not wish to have my own race trying to destroy itself.
That will be all, Lords of Commorragh.
"And whoever wants to be a creator in good and evil, must first be an annihilator and break values. Thus the highest evil belongs to the greatest goodness: but this is--being creative."
~ Friedrich Nietzsche ~
Those that are misguided are the once who are on the road to destruction, the true eldar race grows with every second. Our warriors will for ever stalk the shadows in the darkest corners of the universe.
I have no problem with this temporary agreement with the Eldar.
My intentions have been stated, I play not for the goals of No'Akei but rather to deny Chaos of theirs.
However, as the music of the dying souls begin to fade, will you not save the last dance for me?
Wych Cult of the Crimson Moon shall honor the agreement.
My warband simply wishes slaves from the weary Imperium or the Green Tau.
The fools who try to enter the webway will be quickly expunged; others can look to doing that duty. In any event, we will never be expunged from the intricate web, even if all is lost, there will always be a shadow of us remaining. I plan to be part of it.
The Marine slaves will fetch a high bargaining price with the Gladitorial Administators, and the Tau's new weaponry need studying... also their strong minds are the funnest to break, or so my Haemonicli tell me... their cadre will be pleased with a gift of such.
I Have no plans to assault our weak bretheren, their kinds are overflowing in the slave pits, after our last assault on them, during the Eye of Terror.
I simply seek to take as many human souls as I can, take advantage of this conflict, and better my master, and thus myself.
This is off the record, but arent the Tau actually blue???not greenOriginally Posted by Asmodean
I was referring to their young nature, green as in new wood, not fully mature, etc etc.
