i posted this in this in bothe the tau section and painting section of this forum. i wasn't sure which one it belonged in..
yep i don't even have my army yet and i have created their fluff (sort of). my tau i have decided live side by side with demons. the demons don't disturb them because their minds don't give off any psychic energy or whatever. so my question is what colors do you think their armor would be. i figure it would be whatever colors would make them best blend in with where they live as to insure their survival. so yeah... any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
you know, one day those deamons are gonna get either hungry or board and *zot* there goes tau.
well i like red. do a fiery scheme, like red with orange flames. my tau are purple and their helmets have a dark red flame.
Yes, Hot colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, White) and Black should be the vast, vast majority of your scheme. Perhaps detailing with Gold and Silver.
Not sure about the Fluff, but hey, my Tau get along with Orks....Highland Orks.
Half Gods are worshiped with Wine and Flowers. Real Gods are worshiped in Blood.
Blood for the Blood God! Beer for the Bronze Keg!
I would actually go really dark and cool colours such as black with navy blue highlights. I always hated people who painted their tau red and orange, it made me cringe. It's also very hard to do well. even going with like a really dark green and blue scheme if pulled off correctly would look really nice.
paint them black and white! they look like storm troopers!
seriously, steer clear of orange and yellow. try scab red and a dark blue or somthing.
TAU PLAYER - GREY KNIGHTS PLAYER - WOOD ELVES PLAYER (kind of)
"Grey Knight terminators aren't 'good.' THEY'RE F****N AWESOME!!"
Well deamons don´t really live on a planet do they. Theyre summoned from the warp.
So do the tau and the deamons just ignore each other, or are they interacting?
Are threy trying to convert the deamons to the greater good and including them in the tau empire:w00t:
I think green and red would look real spiffy for a tau army.
