Flesh Hooks are a terribly important biomorph, but how do you model them? Some people have said that you don't have to model grenades on marines, so you wouldn't have to model hooks on 'nids, but I'm not quite sure they qualify as the same thing. I looked in the codex and saw the flesh hooky-bobbers they have on the warrior, and made some out of toothpicks on my stealers and horms, but they don't look very good. I'd like to take them off and let them be, but I don't want some random tourney player to be a not nice person and say I don't have them because of WYSIWYG and the like. Any thoughts?
Some Flesh hooks come in the Warrior box while the enestealers flesh hooks are inside its mouth(I think)

Well, the new stealers have a head that has a flesh hooks biomorph and the warriors have piece. You can also buy the old lictor flesh hooks on the web. If you're looking for an easy way to make some though it seems like you could do like what they did on the new lictor. You could make like a small sheath out of green stuff inlaid in the ribs and then have a point or claw in it.
On hormagaunts what might look cool would be like a sheath on the side of the arm and then a point coming out of it, like a hook launcher.

Some Tyranids obviously are already modelled with flesh hooks when you buy them the Hive tyrant and lictor for example.
Flesh hooks could can be done by cutting off the small spike on the end of a spinefist and sticking it in the ribs of, say a Hormagaunt. This will look like retracted flesh hooks in it's chest. Anything that looks like hooky, barbed or sucking mini-tentacles on a Tyranid creature will be just fine. Flesh hooks can take many forms, Tyranids are mutants after all.
