Are old stealth suits legal to use?

Am I allowed to field old stealth suits in a regulation game?

To put it simply, yes. Every one still knows those are stealth suits and you're allowed to use old models as long as they still show all of the upgrades and stuff. Personally I think the old models look a whole lot more stealthy.:ninja:

Yeah the old models are still legal and I'm using them, mostly because I find them much cooler and they look more stealthy.

But also because I have around 24 of them (12 painted) so I have what I need and don't see any reason for using the new ones

You could just cut off and replace the gun although without some conversion it might look pretty bad.

I'll say don't the fusion blasters is not worth it since they have to get too close to the enemy to use it, and that spoils the effect of the stealth suits, also the fact that you can't take more than 1 out of 3 models and gives them the fusion blaster

Yep, you are, but dotn forget, you have to tell your opponent that they are, in fact, stealth suits, and you cannot have one with a burst cannon and say that it is a fusion blaster, otherwise, your fine!

You can still order them from the GW website and if you have any actual hobby shops, not GW stores or gaming stores or anything, they ussually have old models. Since the codex and new models are new, there may still be some old ones left at GW or other gaming stores but in my experience most of those try to only really stock the newer stuff or put old things into storage.

The tau empire codex actually mentions the XV15 and the XV25 suits under the stealth suit section (literally the first thing they say under the name). giving this text, I believe it's safe to use either type of suit. It also does not mention that you can't use the fusion blaster or a hard point on the XV15 suits either.

plus considering the XV15 suits actually look... Stealthy... I'd rather use them than the XV25 guppies.
    Donuts anyone?
