Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey guy i guess the title explains it all. im having alot of trouble with my friends chaos and taking out his 2 lascannons does anybody have any good advise to take care of these little nastys?
A nice troup of either Flying or Leaping Rippers could stop them.
That and a big distracting Carnifex could allow the rest of your units to flank them.
Where are the lascannons? In a havoc squad? A 5 man CSM squad? Obliterators? A pred? It really depends on who has the weapon. For instance a Lictor is a great way to kill a pred sitting still with 3 las cannons, while the same lictor will just get powerfisted by obliterators.
there are no problems that cannot be solved by genestealers!
Only two? *recalls an instance of facing 20 Dark Lances in a 1500 point army* :cry:Originally Posted by darklord2005
As others have said: some more detail would help us to answer. How large of an army is this in? What are those Lascannons attached to?
Why do the survivors remain anonymous -- as if cursed -- while the dead are revered? Why do we cling to what we lose while we ignore what we still hold?
Name none of the fallen, for they stood in our place, and stand there still in each moment of our lives.

I am guessing its on a predator.

The lascannons are on with his havocs and he has a squad with 2 lascannons and i was thinking mabe using a lictor or something that can infultrate??? and get there on turn 1 or 2
A Havoc sqaud with 2 lascannons, boy are you lucky he's not smart and put them in his troops, they costs nearly twice as much so he's already wasting points, such a small 5 man sqaud can be tackled by a lictor or 2, especially if they are hding somewhere in cover.
so what should i watch out for when taking may lictors near his havoc squad like how should i play this out.
am i correct that lictors have infultrate and do i get to choose where they come out on my opponents side off the field or is it randomised
They don't infiltrate. They have specialized Deep Strike rules that are laid out in the Codex under their unit entry.Originally Posted by darklord2005
Two lascannons. In a havoc squad, no less. Sheesh. That's nothing. You should see what a real Chaos army can do to a Tyranids list.
I wouldn't suggest Lictors, personally. I suggest just taking more standard troops, like Genestealers, Spinegaunts, and Hormies. A Lascannon killing a five point bug is a waste of it's power, and you can easily swamp him with wounds.
