The topic may already be covered somewhere, if so I apologise. Anyways heres a link to some of the new models.
I though I'd share this with fellow Eldar players.....but if you;ve already seen these well....don't spoil it for other who havn't by whining.
I'm liking the look of that halbred on the DA exarc sprue. It's got that +1/+2 str ignore armor saves look to it, which is something the avengers could really use.
Whoah! Talk about speculation! Btw, that weapon already exists, it's called the executioner, but feel free to dream.Originally Posted by sunnyside
I've seen those before, but the more and more I look at the exarch the more and more I want to convert it into a Dark Eldar Sybarite or Succubus.

That is a great link, maybe we should get someone to sticky it?
Warhammer Fantasy: Warriors of Chaos, High Elves
Warhammer 40k: Eldar, Space Marines, Orks
The Executioner is a double-bladed sword, not a Halbeard.
Great thread as well, I'm posting it in the collection of eldar rumors in the Rumour section.
Cool hand't seen all those extra pics. Did anyone else notice the post that said 18" shuriken catapult? That would rule, especially if they keep it an assault weapon. Please don't make it rapid fire.
I doubt they will make shuriken catapults rapid fire as they are ment to fire faster than bolters. But I heard the 18" thing is exclusive to dire avengers. It would make better sense as it would make dire avengers a lot better than gaurdians which is what they are supposed to be intead of moderately better.
Anyways I like the idea of the dire avenger exarch with two shuriken catapults.
Well +2 str and ignores armour saves is an Executioner, plus the executioner is only modeled as a doublebladed sword on the the banshee exarch model. The description in the codex is "a long bladed weapon" so the helberd could qualify.Originally Posted by Da Mighty Camel
That being said, I really don't care because this has no bearing on what's actually going to be in the new codex.
EDIT: I've noticed that no one (not even me) has spelled HALBERD correctly up until this point.
