I have 2FW squads 1 kroot a pathfinder squad a devilish a Crisis squad and a broadside.
I am fighting Nids and Necrons what should i get next.
Hammerhead tank with railgun! Submunition really kicks ass....
depends on the point size you are playing..
in a 1000pt game against Tyranid, get:
1 hammerhead w/ railgun (like Kristofer says.. submunition kicks Tyranid's ass.. 1 shot, goodbye a big patch of warriors/genestealers)
1-2 more full squad of FWs. You'll need more these to hold your line against gaunts.. especially when they play 'without number'.
Havent play alot of games against necrons.. so cant give out any real advices.. But if you play them like space marines, I would say put more crisis suit w/ plasma and missile pod design.
you are on crack, maybe genestealers, but there is no way the submunition will work effectively against warriors. sure it will wound on a 4+ but they still get their armor save.Originally Posted by nekochen

What are you talking about sub round has Ap4 and the best a warrior can get is a 4+ save so yes it can do some damage on warriors though the 2 wounds per model lowers the death count still it would be a pain.
Is it me or does any other necron player get annoyed when they see people saying "Necrons eat souls". How is that even possible as souls are part of the warp and necrons want nothing to do with it? Eh probaly me just me being picky.

A railgun should probably be your first priority, and after that more suits.

Yeah, crisis suits is the best choice versus necrons, that and some kroots to countercharge them. You could also use vespids, but only when they are getting closer (wich they usually wil quite fast).
Darn, I am delusional.. or am I? :shifty:Originally Posted by Xofek
