Now my porblem is setting them up for painting. Do they allways have to be lether clad in furs or can they be set in the city living in the serwers and be waering other stuff? If so send me some ideas.
Skins of the Humans they kill?
Generally speaking the orks are feral because they've spent so much time isolated from most sentient life, and especially from other orks. Trapped in the jungle is a prime example. However, this does not mean you have the dress them in furs or anything. Do whatever you like. I think the idea of feral orks wearing lizard skins or insect (nid) chitin would be kind of interesting. However, they are yous to play with.

whatever you decide post some pics when you are done I would be interested in seeing what you did. I definately could see the skins and furs but I could also see them looking like normal orks because they have evolved into some other ork traits i dont see why they wouldnt eventually evolve into normal orks.
The thing about skins and fur is you can only get them from easily accessible native life forms. If they are on an unoccupied jungle world they would wear what the local animals have. If on a nid world they would wear bits of shell and chitin plating. (Ardboys anyone?) If the only life forms were nothing but orks, squigs and grots, they would skin each other!
Only once they become industrialised themselves or have contact with other more advanced opponents, sites or ruins, would they have access to more advance materials.
I suppose a tribe of Feral Orks in a post-apocalyptic world (Like the Fallout computer game?) could still be primitive but have a mixture of low and high tech clothing, as they grub out their survival in the ruins of destroyed cities and nuclear wastelands?
the beauty of the orks having such similar models is that you can really get away with using them for any clan you want, very flexible, especially the boys. I painted all of my boys in earthtones so that I could use them as 'nillas, snakebites, ferals, or whatever.
Then I built two sets of HQ and such...a feral warboss and boarboyz, etc....and then regular warboss and nobs in my own clan colors. If I wanted to, I could make another set of nobs/warboss in bad moons or whoever, and the generic earthtones slugga/shoota squads look just fine next to them on the board.
Also, if you mostly adorn your models, dreds, kans, and the like with the more generic orky markings, like checkerboards and glyphs, you dont have to worry about having clan specific markings on any of your vehicles or boys (cept maybe the nobs), making them useable in any clan at all.
Visually, I'd say having the warboss, nobs, and maybe a clan-specific waaagh banner is enough to get the idea across as to who you are. Generic boyz are just that...generic boyz.

Umm...dude, the closest thing to a tyranid world is an airless ball of rock...i think u ment to say, a world fighting tyranids...not one owned (and eaten) by tyranids.
But i agree with everything else u said.
