I don't think so, but I thought he is the commander that caused that imperial massacre in the Tau Codex.
At the battle of Thermopylae, the king of Persia demanded the surrender of the Spartans and had sent a messenger to ask for their swords. The King of the Spartans replied with, "Come and take them"
Yes it was the tau commander that led the Koloth Gorge Massacre against the imperium then was summoned back to T'au for talk about his ferocity agianst the IG. Also the teacher of farsight was Puretide and I think he is dead now though since tau usually only live around 40 years(except for a few namely farsight and aun'va).
Is it me or does any other necron player get annoyed when they see people saying "Necrons eat souls". How is that even possible as souls are part of the warp and necrons want nothing to do with it? Eh probaly me just me being picky.

Brightsword was the tau responsible for taking many of the outer colonies from the imperium while they were distracted by the tyranids. He laid heavy metal vengeance down on the vostroyans when he flew over the battlefield and obliterated their commander, sealing their fate. It's in cities of death, brightsword is the hero of the battle of Polia.

Ask yourself why in the world would you trust a win loss record? Playing them yourself is the only way to tell.
The true joy in the game is playing down to the last model, no matter the odds.
