Welcome to Librarium Online!
while browsing this forum i found a link to portent.net and a nice little vehicle design program. inspired by walruz i decided to create a tank for the gue'vesa in my army. Note that i used the imperial guard rules because tau was not included and i can't seem to find those rules anywhere. please tell me if anything is with this tank. For the model i will just use an old Russian KV-1B model kit i had built 2-3 years ago, which i think fits with its crude and unsophisticated look that would come with the Gue'las limited production capabilities.Code:Name Point Front Side Rear BS Catfish 135 13 12 10 3(4) Type: Tank, Normal Crew: Gue'vesa Armament: Autocannon (turret mounted) Heavy Bolter (co-axial w/ Autocannon) Heavy Bolter (hulll mounted) Options: Target Array (+10) Increases BS by 1
sounds cool to me but the IG usually dosent co-axial autocannons and heavy bolters, usually sponsons are used and a storm bolter with the main gun
The Guardsmen Legions, we fight for the freedom!
No i think the coaxil fit, as sponsens would be harder to produce, but i think the 13 front armor is a little high. Also anyone making a human aux. tank should make a rule that it makes a test every movement and on a roll of one it doesnt do anything because the crew have to fix it.

Looks nice and fair, but using Imperial Weapons is worng, try and find the Tau one!
I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor. That's my dream. That's my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight... razor... and surviving.
It's not really bad to use Imp. weapons it just doesn't fit together fluffwise, they would have to be Gue'vesa held in very high regards by ethreals and even then it's kind of a rediculous concept but oh well. Rules wise even though it seems the autocannon is a weapon that is placed in troops rather than on tanks, if you raise the price you could perhaps put on a lascannon or have otional weapons instead.

i found the rules for adding tau weaponary to the tank and to get the closest equivalent to the configuration i had before i would have to swap out the AC for the ion cannon and both the heavy bolters to burst cannons, which increases the cost to 150. i'd rather have imperial weapons on the tank though because it makes it seem more human.
