    Would it be okay...

I was just wondering if it would be okay if I got termagaunts and put them on flying bases to make gargoyles (if not could you plz tell me another way)

You can't just take termagants and stick em on flying bases, you need something that shows them having wings, normal wings or bio-jetpacks must be present on the models.

    here are my own rocketgaunts.

haha, nicely done. Something like a crazy proffesor would make! Great work. But yes, as Dreachon stated there needs to be somehting that represents being able to fly, not just floating.

    Here's a couple hints.

    Dollar store.

    Bag of plastic flying insects.

    Cutting.

    Termagaunts.

I will post pics of my own soon.

(out of curiosity...in a tourney would termagaunts with insect wings that are not from games workshop be useable? I heard the limit is like 10% non-GW)

The GT rules from 2005 say that all models must be "mostly" Citadel models. So, 51%?

yes, more than halve of the model must GW, but this only applies to the GT and other important tournaments.

    Yeah.

You need to display wings of some sort.

How do they figure % of model GW? Volume, weight, surface area, number of parts, or the ubiquitous, "in my opinion". I would love to have gargoyles, but ye gods the price!!! even back when they came out they were expensive, now they're prohibitive.
