Welcome to Librarium Online!
Ok I have a few questions that I haven't with my friends been able to quiet figure out.
-i thought i knew this one but after reading through the Codex a few times it confused me and caused question. Do rending claws ignore armor saves or only on a 6roll during wounding?
-Do cretures that have synapes count as being under it also? EX: When worries are within the synapes of the Hive Tyrant could they be considered under synapes.
-How do sporemines work i don't really understand? I think this is a big thing if they could help with tanks bc my friend with tau owns me with this rail gun monted skimmer things has a armor of like 14 up front and with playin small 750 battles it makes it difficult to beat.
-Does rending help vs armored vehaicals?
First of all, ouch your grammar.Originally Posted by Drakeo1184Warhammer Core Rulebook p. 46, Rending Claws grant the Rending ability. The rules are pretty clear. They fire as barrage weapons (you declare a target and measure, then roll scatter die. Spore Mines are generally a poor choice vs. a Tau Hammerhead. What you want instead is a Carnifex with a Venom Cannon. Stun it every turn and it can't do anything to you.
1. Rending works like a normal weapon but on your to hit roll, if you roll a 6, that one attack automatically wounds and pierces their armor.
2. Synapse works for the creature with the power, you don't need another synapse creature for it to get the benefits.
3. Be more specific and we could answer a question but otherwise it would be clearer just reading your codex again.
4. It sounds like you haven't read the rules for rending, they are in the rule book. Yes it does help against armored vehicles but I have seen at least 3 threads recently in which a mod said, librarium is no substitute for a rule book if you don't have one so if you don't have one, don't just ask for us to tell you a rule.
Hope this helps.

"i'm gonna grant you your greatest wish i'm gonna show you a world without sin" ;- serentiy

I'm not really that harsh, I just thought it'd be easier to provide page references (so that he could use them to explain to his friends) rather than giving him the info secondhand.Originally Posted by AlbinoAlien
The grammar thing... yeah, that was mean of me.
the reason why we are harsh is because we need to be for the noobs to learn
...wow i feel like an *Donkey* for saying noob
(edit for net speak)

Well their are two different types of new player name calling. One is "newb" which is basically just a new player that doesn't know much but can't be helped. Second is "noob" which is more of an insult and making fun of the player.Originally Posted by Hive Fleet Cobra

Is it me or does any other necron player get annoyed when they see people saying "Necrons eat souls". How is that even possible as souls are part of the warp and necrons want nothing to do with it? Eh probaly me just me being picky.
