Welcome to Librarium Online!
I see alot of people doing the CC oriented warrior and I want to do the same but there the problem. In the warrior sprue, there only one pair of rending claw. How do you convert/make those to get the full squad rending claw?
Thanks for future anwsers.
Genestealer claws seem to be a popular alternative.
Well I was lucky and had a few of the older models with rending claws though yes probally genestealers rending claws are the best alternative unless you want to order the other sprues that is.
Is it me or does any other necron player get annoyed when they see people saying "Necrons eat souls". How is that even possible as souls are part of the warp and necrons want nothing to do with it? Eh probaly me just me being picky.

Genesteeler are okay but what do I put on genesteeler if I remove the claw from them?
i just bought another pack of warriors and gave them the guns and used claws on my cc ones.
I couldn't figure out if a CC 'Fex or a Shooting 'Fex is better. So I got both of them!
The Genestealers come with scything talons and you can put those on your Genestealers.Originally Posted by virus646
You have a choice between putting the larger, claws or the smaller, hands on your Warriors.
Personally I would suggest The claws on the Warriors and the hands on the Genestealers this is because the claws are better proportioned to fit on Tyranid warriors.
Of course you may not want scything talons on your Genestealers. In this case assuming you aren't using the scything talons for anything else they can be converted into rending claws. I haven't done this myself so have a good look at them and think about it before you start chopping away.
First you will need arms try either the deathspitter or spinefist arms. You then cut off the weapons at the wrist. Now take your scything talons and cut them at the elbows so you have the forearm and blades. Count them a Genestealer sprue comes with four pairs of scything talons. You will need nine thats just a little more than a boxed set.
Use three pairs of scything talons per Warrior, the idea is to make them three fingered hands. Stick the talons onto the wrists of the arms you selected to create grabbing hands with big pointy fingers.
Be careful while sticking them together you will need to cut and shape the arms you're using to allow enough space for the talons/fingers. Again I'm not sure how well this will work so be careful.:hmm:
