Which one is better???
Huge amounts of shoots or go with the "big ones"?
Myself, i prefer the baby destroyers as apposed to the heavy ones.
MEAT IS MURDER
normal destroyers are better in my opinion just for the shher amount of shots also they are gauss weapons so you still have a chance of taking down even well armoured vehicles and they are cheaper (i think?)
edit- just wanted to say this is my 200 post

go destroyers, becuase they are really good at wasting everything. you get 3 strength 6 ap 4 shots each one, which means you can take out light vehicles, and the fact that there guass weapons can still glance anything stronger than 13 armour still.
Back from a long adventure.
I would go with a squad of three destories and I would try to fit one squad of 2. You need more necrons on the field and you need high str to take out tanks.

I found "small" des more flexible speaking about points value so...
MEAT IS MURDER
Overall, I would agree that the Destroyers are better. However, when you need the power to take something down, the H Destoyers are what you need.
Usually regular destroyers are enough but for large games 1500-2000 ect I always include some heavy for some anti 2+ armor save guys

i'd only use heavy D's if im facing a lot of heavy armor (IG or SM land raiders)
If possible, I would suggest the minimum possible number of Heavy Destroyers and the rest as normal destroyers. That would do well against me at least.
Do the Heavy Destroyers count towards phase out? If not then it's best to go lightly on them.
And while I'm at it, do your normal Destroyers count to phase out as well? I should think they do, being half-warrior and all.
As far as I know heavy and normal destroyers both count for phase out..not sure myself, but i believe the only things that don't count for phase out are hte monolith, scarabs, and pariah's. Flayed ones still count i believe, as do immortals.
