I think they look cool and their ways are just cruel and I love that so I think I will start an army or just start with buying the codex. I have a question before I do what should I start with just 2 troops and an hq because I am short on money and then slowly get some bikes and stuff.:ninja:
Yeah, get a whole bunch of warriors and a lord or haemonculus. Warriors are arguably our best unit for points tied with perhaps wyches and are very versatile, the more you have the better. The battleforce is actually a really good start because you can have 1 raider squad, and then you just buy a blister of dark lances and you have a dark lance squad on foot, a bunch of reavers as a cool toy and some extra anti tank or combat support. Then you can stick the lord in the reaver squad and bits order some blasters for the reavers so that they aren't useless.

If you just keep picking up warriors, a few dark lances between 'em, and a raider whenever you can afford it, you will be well on your way.
A typical starting point might look like this:
40 warriors + lord - just buy additional special weapons, or convert them.
same as above but add a Raider with wytches, a bike squad and a Ravager
Almost all armies have sniper squads, so being able to field 2x 10 man squads (with 2 dark lances each) is a good first goal. Often it helps to have an army list first, and then buy the models to fill it. That way you don't have any wasted purchases.
Some merc Kroot hounds + Shaper can pad your list up to 1000 points. They are good for a first turn charge and you may find some Tau players who don't want thier kroot from the boxed set.
