Are there any ork books out that i dont know about as i would like a book from the xenos point of view and i think that it would be a fun read
I can see why they wouldnt make a ork book as if you arent into the 40k game and dont know about the orks then reading it may be a problem with the way that the orks talk
I don't think they have an ork book. It would be cool but then again it would be like makeing a book from the Necrons point of view, or the Nids point of view. So for that reason I don't think they would. But you never know they might have a book hidden behind all the Chaos and Space marines books.
All religion, my friend is simply evolved out of fraud, greed, imagination and poetry.

I dont even think that Necrons or Nids have a point of view, well at least there rank and file
but theres many things that could make a good ork book like a old warboss is having a hard time taking a world from the guard and one of the nobz thinks dat he couldz run things better or how about a gorkamorka book about a gang who find a old guardship but its not long before the other gitz get wind of it
Orks have lots of thinks that could make a good book as unlike most races orks do whatever they want to do and if a ork wants to loot something behind enemy lines then thats what here do
Or how about following a team of ork kommandos as they sneak deep behind enemy lines. I know they made a graphic novel from the ork point of view (Deth skawdron or something like that) but I don't think they've written any books yet. Too bad, I'd read them. I even like just reading about imperials fighting orks, as they are unlike any other race.

The way I see it is an Ork book would be either very good, or very bad, all depending on howe well the author could get us into the head of the ork character, and make us sympathetic to him.
It would be quite an undertaking for an author to attempt. I suspect that being wary of having a really bad one is the reason we havn't seen any come of the press yet.

Back from internet limbo, and glad to be here.
No ork books as such, but as has been pointed out if you can pick up Deff Squadron you will get yourself a great read from an orky point of view. Its one of my favourite books/comics produced by the Black Library. Then again a green orky heart beats in this human body.

Orks do not indulge themselves in literature, although I would love to read a good GW ork book. The Ork psyche is relatively simple, but it has a nice spice of randomness and humor to it to make them great characters to follow in a book. Following a mob of Ork Kommandos on a suicide infiltration mission would be hilarious, I'd love to see that.

If you are looking for something from an ork's point of view i would recommend Deff Skwadron its the only book i could find an its a good laugh.
