Im looking at starting a new army Ive got Blood angels, Tau and CSM.
I want to know why I should make a nid army
Simple, nids are probably the most adaptable army in the game. If you play with substitution you can almost field any style of army you want and it will be very effective.
You also seem to be lacking an army where you can get lots of cheap units it is alwas fun to out number your opponet 3 to 1
You do not have a close combat oriented army by the looks of it and tyranids are hands down the best close combat army.
Also read the tactica good few paragraphs about that

As said, tyranids are adaptable. I have seen lists of elite, swarm, cc, ranged or then the godzilla set ups. The other thing about them is how different they are. Almost every other army in the 40k universe is humanoid and look similar. Nids though are very different and hold nice alternatives for painting and converting than the normal armies.

Second answer is much simplier: Because you want to. Not because your buddies at the store said they'd be cool, not because some random sampling of people on a webfourm who laud their benefits.
This question pops up far more often than I like to see, but the answer is always the same. Because you want to. If you need other people to help you make the decision for you, then you need to ask yourself a different question.
Aye, it's not our job to convince you to play Nids, you deceide it yourself.
and because there's nothing like a brood of 32 hormagaunts attacking 96 times on your opponents souped up character
its quite funny if you can pull it off
96 dice rolls to hit
no amtter who you are
Nids - 1150 pts (I'm poor, dont laugh)
im too 'fexy
im too 'fexy
im too 'fexy for my carapace, too fexy for my carapace . . .
"Don't lie to me, Tyler! You know where liars go . . . . . they're elected President!!!"
I ask on the necron and nid forum coz I have never seen these to army befor. Where I come from there are only 3 ppl who have thair own 40k armys (my wife is one of them) and about six ppl who play. If I had it my way I would do bouth but cant (1 UK pound = $3 NZ) so a box set of marines is $55 and a predator is $75
