Welcome to Librarium Online!
There seems to be alot of talk about the seeding swarms going around, so heres the question- Do you use them? I dont use them and i've only glanced at the rules, but i might try them out. But lets take a poll here and find out what the majority uses. If you wanted you could even give why or why not you use them! Hoooray!
I started using a Seeding swarm at the start of this year, and so far it has given good results, but the fact is it makes the game a lot more interesting, as even in th last turn I have turned the game in my favour (Or lost misrably)
The other fact is that i don't have to use the seeding swarm rules if i don't want to, as they ferocious and without number broods can go back to the troops section. (not that I want to yet)
I haven't yet used the Seeding Swarm rules in a full length game, but I'm looking forward to Saturday, which is gonna be my chance to do just that. The thing that appeals to me is that problems it'll cause the opponent: how does one prepare to be assaulted from the sky on a virtually 2-dimensional board?
However, I will still use a standard army on occasion, just so I can field Biovores and the Red Terror. We're very lucky in that we get the chance to choose two very different styles of play without drastically modifying our armies much at all.
