How does this work? If you choose to disembark the gun drones on a Devilfish, how do you maintain coherency within this new unit if they both have to be within 2" of the slot they disembarked from? This means that the unit is not in coherency after disembarking. Do you then put them in coherency in their assault move? I'm confused
Uhhh...do you have a model with gun drones, have you actually tried this or are you just theorizing?
Not meant as an insult, but 2" from the slots leaves ample room to get the two drones within 2" of each other, so I really don't see the problem being stated.

Detached gun drones don't have to stay in unit coherency with the base model anyways, just with each other. They form a seperate unit to the tank.

And, I too don't see a problem; there's plenty of room to get them into coherency.

I didn't have the model with me when I posted so I didn't know how far apart they were going to be when they disembark. I've read that disembarking them is good when you're using FoF, to get more distance between you and the target (or a diversion). Thanks for the help.
