Welcome to Librarium Online!
I am playing in an escalation story-based league, and have been awarded a 'bonus' for several consecutive wins. I want to know what others think of it, and how to use it effectively.
They are called Crystal Claws, and I recieved after 'absorbing the dna' from some eldar crystals. They deny the opponent both armor and invulnerable saves for a cost of 30 points. I only get one and I can put them on any model in the army (counts as one weapon, instead of rending claws), but I cant switch that choice.
I play a genestealer army with a Winged tyrant, 2 ranged 'fexes', a broodlord, and lictors. I usually change up my army a bit to keep others from knowing what i will have...and I know a cityfight game is next. There are mostly nid, guard and marines in the league.
You think its worth it?
I agree, lictor would be my first choice. Being loners makes them kind of vulnerable. they need all the help they can get.
I agree, Lictors would be my personal choice.
Nids - 1150 pts (I'm poor, dont laugh)
im too 'fexy
im too 'fexy
im too 'fexy for my carapace, too fexy for my carapace . . .
"Don't lie to me, Tyler! You know where liars go . . . . . they're elected President!!!"
I would put them on a genestealer. Because it is in a unit it is hidden and will become used more. Also it is not going to die as quickly as a lictor. It seems like it would be nice on a Tyrant, but at the cost of an attack, and no gain of a power weapon I don't think it would be worth it. For the points put it on a genestealer with scything talons and treat him like a vet sarg and rip guys up.
Well if it is a city fight the I deffinatly would put it on a lictor as he can pop up just about anywhere. Thus he can choose which target needs to be taken out not to mention with his high WS and high str he will make those attacks count.
Is it me or does any other necron player get annoyed when they see people saying "Necrons eat souls". How is that even possible as souls are part of the warp and necrons want nothing to do with it? Eh probaly me just me being picky.

Lictor sounds like a great idea, and funny enough I never even thought of them. Hmm, decided not to use them in 1000...looks like Im changing my army a bit. Thanks my nid brothers. and see you sunday, Katalyst.
Imperial Guard, Sisters, and Eldar have Indeed fallen. When ye have a Tyrant, a Carnifex, and two squads of Genestealers sitting on an objective, there isnt much they can do.
