40k and Nid newbi, tell me if i'am right. A ravener whit a devourer gets 6 shots a turn, 4 rending cc attack and can potentialy move 18' a turn. Are they like a super unit or they got a huge weakness i cant see?
Also would you chose them over an extra unit of warrior?

Let slip the dogs of war.
Bretonian (over 5k points)
Tomb king (over 5k points)
Ogre kingdom (4.5k points)
Tyranid (3k points but not even half assemble, new army)
Well first of all they only have a 5+ save thus die to bolter fire so thats a decent weakness IMO . Either way they are IMO an very underused unit in a tyranid and are pretty badass. Though another reason why people may not like them is they are fairly expensive as the rav type that you said is basically 50pts with a 5+ save and only 2W...not very tough for guy that is 10pts more then a terminator.
Is it me or does any other necron player get annoyed when they see people saying "Necrons eat souls". How is that even possible as souls are part of the warp and necrons want nothing to do with it? Eh probaly me just me being picky.

Yes you can fire its devourer 6 times and charge to get 5 rending hits. Their big downside is cost and a 5+ armour save. Remember bolters are AP5 and with only 4 toughnes they can be easily insta-killed. They do have great mobility and charge range. However 3 Raveners with devs will cost you 150pts. Which is 7.5 'stealers.
You can't really compare them with Warriors as they don't have synapse and have two different roles in play.
dont forget though you don't need to give a gun, save yourself the ten points just use them for the assualt, its cheaper and there good for distraction
I never use them to shoot, and my friends get really confused anytime I don't put them out on the table...They really are a great choice; and if you don't want to go hormigaunt heavy Raveners can really speed up your list.
