Like i said in my other treads i'm newbie to 40k and nid, from waht i gather in the other threads 2 hive tyrant seem mandatory( ok i have red the codex and i know you dont have to put 2) in a tyranid army. Dont your adversaries find that abusive/cheesy or is it normal and everybody those the same thing in 40k?

Let slip the dogs of war.
Bretonian (over 5k points)
Tomb king (over 5k points)
Ogre kingdom (4.5k points)
Tyranid (3k points but not even half assemble, new army)
hive tyrants aren't mandatory, many people like them because they like the capabilities of the hive tyrant, but a tyranid player can also take a broodlord with genestealer retinue, or can take warriors as an hq choice, i personally favor the warrior to the hive tyrant
first, nothing in any codex is cheesy. period! dont fall to that kind of thinking. your goal in playing isnt to make the opponent hate you its to have fun. every codex has "cheesy" stuff so dont worry about it. also, many people take the broodlord as a good HQ choice. some people dont take either and go with just warriors. its tough to say what is best as what is good against one army sucks against another. try to pick something in the middle and adjust from there to meet your needs. just play for a while and you will find what works and what doesnt.
Yeah. You should definitely get 1 Hive Tyrant, just to try him out. The new model is frikkin sweet too. But no, not everyone takes 2, or even 1 like daroc was saying.
Tyranids: 2500 pts
Imperial Guard: 1000 pts
Witch Hunters: 1000 pts
Well, consider this. The Tyrant is the only viable HQ choice in every situation. Would your players moan to the point that you don't want to waste cash on them. Also the Tyrant is the ONLY Tyranid unit that can shoot as well as a lowly space marine or even a standard Sister of Battle!
It's only really silly when people start cloning their elite/HQ choices (for example, your opponents might complain if you had two winged hive tyrants--you can't, but if you could, they might not like it).
Also, warriors are generally considered to be inferior (which I am sadly forced to agree with). A walking, shooty tyrant costs a little more, moves just as fast, but can actually do more damage--shooting and CC alike--than a lot of warriors.
The broodlord is a nice alternative, but is fairly useless without infiltrate. Also, you've never heard people rant and rave like when a huge genestealer army is fielded!
And shush, daroc. There are some unfair things in everyone's codexes, like the SM 3-librarian command team. Or the Space Marine Landspeeders. Or Iron Warriors.
"Tell me what you cherish most. Give me the pleasure of taking it away." Sephiroth, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
there is always a way to counter any thing in any codex. Now obviously if you dont know what someone is going to field then it becomes harder. however, I'd be willing to bet that a 3 librarian command squad is very expensive pts wise and could end up being a huge waste against hoard armies like nids. Also, how do you consider the landspeeder cheesy? Its a pts waste it can do the job of one heavy bolter marine at four times the cost. I would never take a landspeeder. Like I said before there isnt anything that is cheesy. It can always be countered or has a disadvantage that offsets its benefits (usually pts cost). This is exactly why well rounded lists are so good, because you can handle any threat no matter how "cheesy" it is.
