Can a unit of Zoanthropes take different hive mind powers. as far as i know they can't it doesn't say anything about them being able to take different powers in the codex but i have commented on one persons army list making reference that they can't take different powers so i just want to know if they can or can't to clear it up.
Pg. 44 has the entry about Zoanthropes in the Tyranid codex.
Zoanthropes always have Warp Field. They can also choose a second and third psychic power at the points listed, but it's not neccesary.
I'm not sure if they can take different powers in the same unit. Reading through the codex now...
Edit: Well, Iv'e read through the Zoanthrope entry, and I'm guessing that they can take differnet powers.
"Zoanthropes are deployed as a single unit, but do not need to be placed together and operate independently during the game."
This also gives me the impression that they can take different powers.

Zoanthropes are bought together as a unit but operate independently during the game. You buy them all together as one heavy support choice and they are deployed at the same time. Aside from this they are completely independent from each other, they don't even have to be deployed in brood coherency. You can give Zoanthropes different Hive mind powers if you wish as each one is purchased as a independent part of one whole unit.
They are not similar to a brood of Gaunts which must all operate together during a game. Tyranid warriors are the exception to this but it is still stated that Tyranid warriors must maintain brood coherency. Zoanthropes don't have to maintain this coherency, infact they can't operate as a unit and so each one is given it's Hive mind powers with no regard to the others.
Hope this clears it up for you.
