In your many varied opinions, what is the best weapon configuration for a Wraithlord?
If a tree falls in the forest, and it lands on a mime, does anyone care?
Nothing. Because their just huge fire magnets.
Wait, two flamers.

Wait, you mean that optimism isn't fashionable anymore?!
Lord of Smart-ass Youthimizzles.
Soup's up, bitches!
I use Starcannon and 1 catapult and 1 flamer.
Works good against almost anything.

Two flamers (they are just better than s catapults) and a bright lance or Eldar missle launcher if you can get your hands on one.
Pandora, the wraithlord must have a heavy weapon.
I play Ulthwe and I have found that since I always have two squads of Black Guardians both armed with Starcannons (Usually a smaller regular Squad with a Starcannon as well.) that it can be a good idea to give the WL a BL since he is more free to move into a good spot to fire the BL. Having said that I find that a WL with a Starcannon can really strike fear into the hearts of SM, CSM and to a lesser extent Necrons. Well, I guess that my final answer is that both the BL and the SC are good choices. After all the WL is an awsome fellow.
PS do not forget that a Starcannon or two can actualy make short work of a Rhino/Razorback. I went for several games not even shooting my SCs (b/c the SM player had used his three rhinos to cover his squads) thinking that I had no viable targets
You want your wraithlord to have a brightlance because it has a bs of 4 which means it hits on a 3. the guardian squads ahve a bs of 3 so they hit on a 4. id rather the BL be on the wriathlord cause its on shot hitting on a 3 instead of 1 shot hittting on a 4 wiht the guardians.
<insert witty remark here>
brightlance because any armor over 12 counts as 12 except monlith.
Bad question, the weapons depend on who you are fighting and what the weapons in the rest of your army are
Everything you have been told is a lie!
I tend to give my lord a Bright lance. It helps allot with BS 4 and most the time he has line of sit e to all the tanks that are shooting at him.
I leave the star cannons to my war walkers. ::drools:: I played last night and fielded 3 war walkers all with duel star cannons, with a farseer casting guide. They successfully eliminated every unit they fired at. Sweet stuff.
Its probably a good idea to have at least one brightlance in a tournament army, and the wraithlord is a good place to stick it. Twin flamers are very useful, but if you are close enough to flame your target, you could probably assault, and if you flame the first few models, and can't get into close combat, thats bad. The wraithlord model comes with 1 flamer, and 1 shuriken catapult, I don't plan on converting my wraithlord' secondary weapons, its just not worth the effort.
