Dude, magnetized models are sweet. Fexes become the most versatile toolbox in the army.
here's where I get mine:
List of Neodymium Disc Magnets
It's cheaper than ebay, and you have WAY more options.
For fexes, I use 4mm by 1mm, but I think it is "standard" to use 5mm by 1mm. After making sure I knew the right spot to drill, I used a dremel to bore little holes into the arms and sockets (careful not to drill through into the body cavity!). Then some greenstuff, and voila!
Tyranids: 2500 pts
Imperial Guard: 1000 pts
Witch Hunters: 1000 pts
as Abe said, magnets are the best thing since sliced bread. But it can not be stressed that if you do use a dremel, you have to be sure what you are doing.
But, with Carnifex's, there is nothing better to magnetize.
and I just went to a craft store, they usually have oodles of magnets, and they are rather cheap, as they come in packs.

Ist doch so gut gewürzt und so schön flambiert und so liebevoll auf Porzellan serviert Dazu ein guter Wein und zarter kerzenschein Ja da lass ich mir Zeit Etwas Kultur muss sein.
I get mine off ebay. Just make sure your getting rare earth magnets as they others just arnt strong enough. And also make sure youve got tons of patiance. Youll end up glueing magnets to your fingers, then the polarity of the other magnets will push themselves outta the sockets and glue to your table/floor/forehead. Ooo, and make sure your fitting them all the right way around, mark the side to be glued otherwise youll have a fex that activly forces his own arms to fall off!
For European online ordering, Supermagnete seems good. Hobby stores alone might not carry them (about the largest I know in Helsinki doesn't, for some odd reason), so might pay to check good old hardware stores.
Yeah, I know the OP is in the US, but figured anyone interested in getting ahold of the magnets in EU might also take a look at the post. =)
