hellohello, i have a quick Question.
bought a whole DE army at once (pain putting that together, let me tell you!) with a jetbike theme. this includes jetbike characters.
can i put my dracons on reavers, and use punishers + tormentor helms?
more specifically, can bike models use 2 handed weapons?
No, they can't. Read the entry in the Wargear section - it details what weapons you can have.
I would recommend, though, a Power Weapon for your main HQ, plus a Tormentor Helm. Power Weapon, Jetbike, and Combat Drugs will give you a S5 Dracon/Archon, if you want it.
thanks guy, i assumed so. damn White Dwarf!
there was an article on sum fellows DE just after the new edition was released stating a change and that was how he fielded them. 2 of 'em. WD published that. i hate that:yes:
no problems, PWeapon Drug Combo is the only fallback option compared to the 'illegal' one and already considered. thank u!
now i still have the entire army to build, excuse me for a while..... nope. zilla list instead:yes:
Anyway, sadly you cant give your reaver lord a punisher, yet I dont think its too much of a disadvantage since agoniser is just as good against T4 enemies but a little worse vs T3 units like nids and guardsmen. A reaver mounted IC can only be given a single CC weapons which is most usually an agoniser, or a scissorhand if its a hamonculus. But you can give your IC a tormentor helm, which is actually one of my most favorite wargear pieces. Maybe cause it just looks cool when you put an incubi helmet on a reaver character. other then that it does give you +1 atack which i think is very nice, especially for a punisher wielding IC(Not on bike of course)
Logicaly wise, everything makes sense since you do need one hand (At least) to drive a bike thats skimming 200 miles per hour, and a single wrong move of your hand, and boom, you just got aquainted with a tree.
